Creative Wellbeing

I am a professional musician and theatre practitioner with over ten years of experience working with an award-winning community arts department New Vic Borderlines.

I am a board member for Rideout, a leading organisation in developing arts-based approaches to working with people in prison and staff working in UK prisons.

I have worked with partners such as: Exeter and Keele Universities, the NHS, and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, I've developed projects that centre on vulnerable people, including adults with disabilities, children in care, and refugees.

Throughout my career, I have engaged in a diverse range of work that underscores my expertise in creating impactful workshops and facilitating group activities.

My experience includes conducting conferences and training sessions, where I have honed my skills in managing group dynamics and prioritising an inclusive environment.

I have recently been added to the list of professional counsellors for Wellbeing in the Arts. I have an interest in exploring the intersection of creativity and wellbeing. I strive to identify best practices that ensure creative work not only thrives but also prioritises the principles of co-creation, thereby enriching the collaborative process and enhancing the overall experience for all participants.

I am currently a mental health support worker for a Men’s mental health project with B-Arts.
